তৈলাক্ত মাছের টিস্যু থেকে উৎপন্ন তেলকেই আমরা মাছের তেল বা ফিশ অয়েল বলে জানি। এতে উচ্চ মাত্রার ওমেগা-৩ ফ্যাটি অ্যাসিড, ইকোসাপেন্টাইয়েনিক অ্যাসিড (ইপিএ) এবং ডোকোসেহেক্সায়েকনিক অ্যাসিড (ডিএইচএ) থাকে।
