I did not wake up as a perfumer. This aspiration did not strike me all at once in some gigantic epiphany. It grew bit by bit, quietly—like an unseen seed within me—until it became too loud to silence. I followed every trail—YouTube, Google, Facebook, books—anything
I could get my hands on. I wanted to know. There weren’t many decent institutions to study perfumery in Bangladesh, but that didn’t stop me. When your heart calls you toward something, you carve your own path. Then came the first serious action. On November 24, I enrolled in a serious perfumery course—a professional one. It wasn’t short or superficial. It was a full 3-month course, the kind used to train actual master perfumers. It included 16+ hours of video classes, an in-depth study of 400+ raw materials, over 100 accord-creation guides, and 28 pre-formulated professional recipes—with tests at the end. I threw myself into it with everything I had. From morning to night. Not a single day passed without me working on it. But screen learning wasn’t enough. So I went hands-on. I started buying real ingredients, experimenting, blending with my own hands. I’d test, observe, and record each reaction—what evaporated too fast, what lasted, what clashed, what shone. I learned how perfumes develop over time, how oils evolve, how notes shift and settle. I trained myself to think in scent. When I finished that first course, I wasn’t done. I continued—signing up for another 3-month advanced course. I wanted depth. I wanted mastery. I wanted to create something that could stand on its own. These weren’t online tutorials. This was 18 months of love, sacrifice, obsession, and passion.

On August 1, 2024, I created the page for Lockfume by TN. It felt like opening the door to something I had worked so hard for, alone in the dark. But the timing wasn’t right—Bangladesh was going through a difficult time, and I didn’t want to launch something so close to my heart in a moment of instability. So I waited. Quietly. Patiently. Until I knew I was truly ready. Then came October 1, 2024. That was the day Lockfume by TN was born. I began sharing photos of my blends, posting stories, making videos, and—finally—selling my first hand-bottled fragrances. The dream was no longer in my notebooks. It was out in the world. It was real—and it was in people’s hands. Lockfume by TN is not just a perfume house. It’s a part of my soul. It’s the result of sleepless nights, silent sacrifices, and a voice within that refused to give up. I believe fragrance is more than smelling good. It’s feeling confident. Feeling like you. It’s carrying a story on your skin.
