✨ Bronze Statuettes: Between Art Nouveau and Art Deco
Elegant, expressive, and full of movement, bronze statuettes embody the artistic spirit of two remarkable movements that shaped European decorative arts at the turn of the 20th century.
🌿 Art Nouveau celebrates flowing lines, organic forms, and the beauty of nature. The female figure, often depicted in graceful poses, became a favourite subject, with sculptors exploring movement, sensuality, and the decorative possibilities of bronze.
✨ Art Deco, emerging in the 1920s, introduced a different aesthetic: geometric forms, stylised figures, streamlined silhouettes, and a fascination with modernity, luxury, and sophistication.
