Christian Ammann is a young online gallery specializing in 20th Century designer furniture and objects with a focus on modern design from 1945-1969.

I have a passion for authentic handmade furniture from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, designed by furniture designers, architects and cabinet makers and made by skilled craftsmen. I like furniture made from natural materials such as oak, teak, walnut or rattan. I also like Mies van der Rohe-style or Paul Kjærholm-style furniture with sleek metal bases and down-filled, duvet-like leather upholstery. I spe

nd a lot of time finding the right pieces for my gallery. I often offer early production editions and sometimes rare pieces, mostly by well-known designers and sometimes also by less well-known designers. My aim is also to offer vintage furniture in very good condition that is ready to use and to enjoy for the new owner.
