Since we get asked weekly what this kind of service includes, by people willing to buy or bring in their unit for repair, it’s the following for a Juno-106 service:

General disassembly & cleaning
Replacement of mains filter capacitors on power supply board.
Replacement of voice-chips + full calibration
Replacement of memory battery + saving / reloading patches
Replacement of tactile switches
Disassembly & cleaning of faders & controls on bender unit + main control panel
Placement of new dust covers

Ruth O’Mahony-Brady is a musician, producer and composer from dublin and has worked as a session musician and backing vocalist with many renowned artists, including Sam Smith, Glen Hansard, Eddie Vedder, Rufus Wainwright, Paloma Faith, and… Gorillaz!

Happy and honoured to have provided her with a super nice, fully serviced Roland Juno 106 for the Gorillaz live rig last year. Kind of a full circle moment after buying the first Gorillaz album 25 years ago and becoming an instant fan :)

Tonight at Rock Werchter, 20:55h, main stage!
