We know our customers want GENUINE stone.
So, we took it to the next level by creating a process to make actual stone covers.
:
You probably wonder how we are able to achieve such thin pieces, without breaking the stone?
We know it’s hard to believe.. but we discovered a way to extract a thin layer directly from a big block of stone.
:
Thin veneers of stone are pulled away from the original thicker stone slabs by adhering a thin layer of cotton first. When the resins cure, the cotton is "pulled" or "stripped" away taking with it a thin layer of stone. There is no grinding of the surface to make it thinner! Pretty awesome, right!?

The remaining stone veneer will carry the color and texture of the original stone it is pulled from. They are very lightweight and they vary in thickness, color and texture.

Each piece is precision-designed to the dimensions of your MacBook and hand finished into the final product in our very own workshop in Belgium.
