Had a great time examining the 1647 Borlon bass in the Antwerp Vleeshuis collection. Big thanks to Conservator Mirte Maes and Museum Vleeshuis Klank van de Stad. A beautiful and very interesting instrument!

Some basses have dents and scratches under the bridge foot, often due to old pick-ups that were placed underneath. I like to fit bridge feet precisely, so sometimes that results in this Lego-like fit!
