Rick Owens: interiors captures the place where Owens began designing furniture as a hobby, his iconic home and headquarters at the palais bourbon, a space populated with the furniture that Owens has been designing since 2006. Including antler chairs and petrified bark tables as well as workspaces and bedrooms, this volume provides a unique view of the lifestyle and body of interior design work of an artist who is constantly pushing the boundaries with his personal approach to craft.

Witness to Her Art: Art and writings by Adrian Piper, Mona Hatoum, Cady Noland, Jenny Holzer, Kara Walker, Daniela Rossell and Eau de Cologne - CCS 2006

Published by Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, Witness to Her Art documents and explores unknown or little known artistic projects by six influential artists, as well as a pioneering magazine project, Eau de Cologne, that was also a direct response to social and political realities that needed to be aesthetically engaged. All of these projects were informed by post-1965 artistic developments that continue to define the most viable aesthetic notions of 'the contemporary'.

Nina Katchadourian - Seat Assignment - Primitive Books 2026

Seat Assignment is the first book to capture the astonishing breath and complexity of artist Nina Katchadourian’s eleven-year long project by that name, in which she made art on every flight she took using only the materials she found around her, documenting the results with her phone’s camera. Using things like snacks, the in-flight magazine, sweater lint, her own fingers, her clothing, or even just the glare of the overhead reading light, Katchadourian creates artworks on her tray table, in her lap, and even in the airplane lavatory, where tissue paper seat covers and paper towels transform her into characters that recall 15th-century Flemish portraits.

The hundreds of color photographs in this book, arranged chronologically, show her process of persistent experimentation and improvisation and reveal how a commitment to play and rigor in combination can produce unexpectedly beautiful and ingenious results.
