Every once in a while, we come across a producer that reminds us why we do what we do.
A hidden estate. Tiny production. Virtually impossible to find outside a handful of the world’s finest restaurants.
That was exactly our feeling the first time we tasted the wines of San Barnaba.
We didn’t simply like them—we fell in love.
Their purity, precision and quiet confidence left an immediate impression. These are not wines made to follow trends or chase scores. They are wines of place, of patience, and of extraordinary authenticity.
Today, we are delighted to offer two new arrivals that we believe will become the stars of your summer.
2025 Verduno Pelaverga
Perhaps Piedmont’s best-kept secret. A remarkably fragrant red with aromas of white pepper, rose petals and wild berries, carried by an effortless freshness. Light enough to be served slightly chilled, yet complex enough to fascinate every glass.
2024 Derthona Timorasso
One of Italy’s greatest white wines, crafted from a grape that has become legendary among sommeliers. Deep, mineral and beautifully textured, it combines energy with remarkable elegance and has an extraordinary capacity to age.
What makes these wines even more special is their rarity.
San Barnaba produces only limited quantities, and their bottles are quietly poured on some of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred tables. They are rarely seen in traditional retail channels and are almost never available in meaningful quantities.
This is exactly the kind of discovery we love to share with our clients: wines that remain confidential, yet speak for themselves from the very first sip.
If you are looking for the wines of the summer—bottles that surprise, delight and spark conversation—these are the ones.
Availability is extremely limited, and once they are gone, we do not expect another allocation until next vintage.
We hope you will enjoy them as much as we did.
Warm regards,
DELEF team
