A light in the dark, as a gift to Delft.
We are really happy that, together with our partners, we are given the chance to present one work from the program of Highlight Delft: Sunset in Delft, by Mike Rijnierse and Ludmila Rodrigues. Right now we are finishing the last work on it, in the canal.
The sun is setting in Zuidkolk on the exact spot where Vermeer painted his famous 'View on Delft' by Johannes Vermeer in 1660 and is a clear tribute to the artwork. This glowing mass of light invites spectators to play with the panorama and perspective of the sunset located on the exact location in the water where three canals of the idyllic city of Delft intersect.

The setting sun is outside, can be visited for free and you can always keep a distance of one and a half meters without any problems. So if you are in Delft anyway you now have the opportunity to pass by it and get an artificial boost of Vitamin D. The 'Sunset in Delft' can be seen from Wednesday (today!) to Saturday from 17:00-23:00 in the Zuidkolk in Delft.
