Chimay Grande Réserve 2026 Bourbon Barrel Aged Edition 75cl

Taste: Aging in bourbon barrels(Willet Pot Still Reserve) gives the classic Chimay Blue an extra dimension: You taste the familiar notes of dark fruit (raisins, figs) and a malty sweetness of caramel.

The Bourbon Influence: The barrels add distinct layers of vanilla, toasted oak, and coconut.

Mouthfeel: It is a full-bodied and oily beer. Despite the 10.5% alcohol, the sensation is warming but beautifully blended with the sweet accents.

Aftertaste: The finish is long and evolving; The sweetness of the fruit gives way to a light, woody bitterness. A light touch of smoke and tannins (from the wood) lingers on the palate. It finishes drier than the regular Blue, which invites you to take another sip.

Dochter van de Korenaar Beau-Monde 33cl

The beer is fruity and thirst-quenching, with distinct notes of orange peel. The aroma is floral with hints of roses and herbs. This beer is dry-hopped, which provides extra aromatic hop notes without excessively increasing the bitterness.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, Christmas-like odor mingling with a tart, sour scent. Toffee, cinnamon and brown sugar. Sugared berries.Tart gooseberries with light touch of vinegar. Medium strong carbonation. Medium thin, oily, smooth yet lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong fruity sweetness followed by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a slightly burnt tang. Lingers for a while. Finish has a dry vinous quality.
