Seems like summer is slowly coming to an end and the sky is turning grey again. This transition presents a great setting for OM's ‘Variations on a Theme’, a heavy, diligently pure collection of repetitive stoned riffs. An album lasting 45 minutes with only three songs on it. The Bug Club’s ‘Every Single Muscle’ was released on May 29 via Sub Pop Records. This Welsh garage duo describe themselves as a tight-knit, collaborative effort focused on telling tales of the everyday that we often take for granted, shot through with humour and riffs-a-plenty. That’s exactly what you’ll hear across the eighteen tunes that comprise this album!

We’re sure by now you’ve heard of Wednesday, Asheville-based alt-country rockers at the forefront of the scene right now. They have released 6 records so far with their latest, “Bleeds”, being the most successful one to date. But did you know in 2022, they put out a cover album featuring covers of their favorite bands and main influences?

It’s called “Mowing the Leaves Instead of Piling ‘em Up” and it features covers of a.o. Drive-By Truckers, Hotline TNT, Vic Chesnutt and The Smashing Pumpkins.
