“Chasing treasures overseas”
In ten years of traveling the world, Louise always found herself pleasantly “stuck” in places where textiles, colours and art sat at a culture’s core.
From Latin America to Asia and Africa, the fascination for bold colours and designs accompanied her through every intense step, and bright story. Lamita Stories was born.
It comes as no surprise that the unique pieces in Lamita Stories collections are bright, bold and intense.
“As your interior is very personal, adding a decoration or furniture piece holds the same sentiment as buying a piece of jewellery. The moment you lay eyes on it, the heart lights up and you just know it has always been yours to have.
My way of decorating is the pure translation of my many journeys. From where I have been to where I am going. It is a reflection of who I am and what I want to share with everyone else.”

“Op schattenjacht in het buitenland”
In tien jaar rondreizen over de wereld, vond Louise zichzelf altijd terug op plaatsen waar textiel, kleuren en kunst de kern van de cultuur vormden.
Van Latijns-Amerika tot Azië en Afrika; de fascinatie voor gedurfde kleuren en designs begeleidde haar bij elke stap op haar avontuur.
Lamita Stories was geboren.
Het is dus geen verrassing dat de unieke stukken in de Lamita Stories collecties helderheid, durf en intensiteit uitstralen.
“Omdat je interieur heel persoonlijk is, kan je het aankopen van een decoratie- of meubelstuk vergelijken met een sieraad. Op het ogenblik dat je het ziet, licht het hart op en weet je dat het altijd voor jou bestemd geweest is.
“Mijn manier van decoreren is de pure vertaling van mijn vele reizen. Van waar ik geweest ben naar waar ik heen ga. Het is de weerspiegeling van wie ik ben en wat ik wil delen met de wereld.”
