📚✨ Special Reading & Illustration Workshop: Sous mon toit ✨🏠
Meet the illustrator Giulia Gallino at our multilingual children’s bookshop Brussels.

📆This Saturday, 19 September, we’re thrilled to host a special reading and illustration event at Bimbi Books with Giulia Gallino, the talented Italian illustrator behind Sous mon toit (La Partie).

In this beautifully poetic album, the narrator is a country house whose peaceful life is filled with the sounds of doors closing, children running, and voices echoing — a celebration of home, belonging, and the bonds we create under one roof. Giulia will read the book and share insights into her creative process, and propose an artistic workshop, perfect for families who love children’s books in Brussels.

🗓️ When: Saturday, 19 September at 4:00 pm
📍 Where: Bimbi Books, Chaussée d’Ixelles 301, 1050 Ixelles (near Flagey)

🙋‍♀️If you didn't this yet, it's about time, Bimbi Books has its catalogue online!!! Our site navigation is not very sophisticated 🙈(so far) and it doesn't have automated algorithms 💪 to push you do anything. Welcome to Bimbi Books, that is part of our core values "Bimbi Books is not an algorithm" 🤩.

⬆Here you can see some books that are in our selection. To help you navitage ⛵, we have a basic "search" function that you can use: there you can input keywords by theme (imagination, diversity, adventure, baby, girl power, vehicles, music, friendship...) there is a whole list connected to the titles to help you narrow down titles. Use your imagination for those words, it is not a closed list, it grows continuously.

You can also use author name ✍ or publisher to search.

We don't offer a selection by age in the search, it is too limiting and too subjective.
You can filter by language and you have an option to filter our favorites of the moment.

📣 Pro tip: If you use the keyword "coupdecoeur" 💗 (altogether) you will be served books that we have for one reason or the other at some point, decided these were favorites. But remember, this is a very personal criteria. Have fun checking the books out! And share with the friends that need children's books in other languages in Brussels, Wallonia and Flanders, because we can ship them! 📦
