A porcelain worktop in Uniceramica Marmo Antico in a compact, custom-designed kitchen. The darker brown veining in the stone aligns with the dark timber cabinetry. 🪵

A wall opening between the kitchen and the adjacent space does two things at once: it draws in natural light and keeps the room connected to the rest of the house. In a smaller footprint, every decision counts. Custom cabinetry takes care of storage without compromising the layout.

Kilkenny Limestone anchors a multi-level patio landscape in north Toronto.

A residential project on a double lot in one of Toronto's premier neighbourhoods uses Kilkenny Limestone throughout its exterior landscape to unify a complex sequence of outdoor spaces. The stone runs from patio paving to stair treads, pool surround and stepping stones, tying the choreography of levels together while holding its own against the architectural weight of zinc cladding, plaster and natural wood.

The multi-level structure of the patio gives the garden its spatial logic. Kilkenny Limestone gives it its material coherence: a dark blue-grey Irish limestone with a dense, fine-grained surface that weathers with restraint and performs reliably through freeze-thaw cycles and wet summers.
