ivate lives, which means that the items we carry and use when on the move also have a major impact on both our effectiveness and mindset. Product selection is of crucial importance to us. We search relentlessly for goods which are:
durable: most of the goods we sell are handmade to last from quality materials
beautiful: because form is as important as function
practical: as in well-designed
uncommon: ..vs mass-produced with low added-value
In these times of mass production of cheap goods and global consumerism, we were finding it increasingly difficult to buy items which met these criteria. We were also disappointed by brick & mortar stores that never had the products we wanted in stock and tired of poor service and communication from the on-line ones. NOMADO Store is our answer to this. Our objective is quite simply to curate the most practical and beautiful portable goods from a limited selection of suppliers in Japan and many other countries to make your life on the move a more positive experience. We also try our hardest to make shopping from our store an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Over the coming weeks, we will be setting up 2 new travel-focused blogs, one in English, the other in French, to share our favourite travel spots, experiences and insights with you.
