Since switching to hot wax, Lidl-Trek uses 75% fewer chains per season. 😮
How? Proper chain management.
After a race or a grand tour, the chains return to our custom built Hot Wax Corner at Lidl-Trek’s service course.
What happens next is, every chain is:
→ Measured for wear
→ Hot waxed again
→ Broken in again
→ Packaged and labelled
→ Ready for the next race
Essentially, all chains are checked, organised and when they’re good to go, re-waxed and put back into rotation.
So the same chain management you’re doing at home, just with slightly more chains. 😅✌️
