Artifort F588 lounge chair with ottoman by Geoffrey Harcourt, 1967

Iconic F588 lounge chair with matching ottoman, designed by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort in the 1960s.

The design is defined by its organic flowing silhouette, deep tufted cushions and elegant tulip swivel base. Harcourt’s iconic approach to lounge seating — soft, cocooning and architectural at the same time — is perfectly reflected in this model.

This set has been reupholstered in a dark charcoal grey wool-blend fabric with a subtle textured appearance, complementing the strong sculptural lines of the chair. The matching ottoman enhances both the comfort and the visual balance of the design.

An exceptional modernist lounge set with a timeless presence.

Mission Sofa by Jack Crebolder for Harvink, The Netherlands, 1980s

Striking and highly architectural ‘Mission’ sofa designed by Jack Crebolder and produced by Harvink in the Netherlands during the 1980s.

Crebolder conceived this sofa not as a conventional wall-bound seating element, but as a freestanding object within an open interior. This intention is clearly reflected in the design: a low, horizontal black lacquered wooden platform extends on both sides, creating integrated surfaces and allowing the piece to be experienced from all angles.

The seating consists of loose black leather cushions, supported at the front by slender chromed metal legs, giving the sofa a floating appearance. The contrast between the solid volume of the base and the lightness of the metal structure enhances its sculptural presence.

The result is a piece that operates at the intersection of furniture and architecture — equally functional as seating and as a spatial element within a room.

Brutalist Oak Dining Chairs, Netherlands, 1970s

A striking set of six Dutch dining chairs from the 1970s, executed in solid oak with a strong architectural presence.

The design is defined by its robust, almost monolithic construction, softened by a subtly curved backrest that adds both comfort and visual balance. The thick, solid frames emphasize craftsmanship and materiality, characteristic of late 20th century Dutch modernism with brutalist influences.

The seats are upholstered in a coarse woven fabric, which complements the dark-stained oak beautifully and enhances the natural, tactile quality of the pieces.

These chairs originate from a dining set produced in the Netherlands, by AZS Meubelen, Schoonhoven.

Matching extendable table available!

Well-proportioned and comfortable, suitable for both contemporary and more character-driven interiors.

Set of six leather cantilever dining chairs by W***y Rizzo for Cidue, Italy, 1970s

Elegant set of six Italian cantilever dining chairs designed by W***y Rizzo for Cidue in the 1970s. The chairs feature a striking chromed steel cantilever frame with sculptural side supports that suspend the seat, creating a refined and dynamic silhouette typical of Italian design from the period.

The seats are upholstered in brick red-colored saddle leather, finished with visible edge stitching that emphasizes the clean lines and craftsmanship. The gently curved seat and slightly extended front provide both comfort and a distinctive visual character.

The combination of polished chrome and warm brick red leather perfectly reflects the luxurious modern aesthetic associated with W***y Rizzo’s furniture designs of the 1970s.

A sophisticated and timeless set, ideal around a dining table or as statement seating in a modern interior.

Set of four early production Cab 412 dining chairs designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina, Italy, 1977.

The CAB chair is one of the most iconic Italian design chairs of the late 20th century and is part of Cassina’s celebrated I Contemporanei collection. The design is notable for its innovative construction: a steel frame completely covered by a thick saddle leather that is zipped over the structure, creating a sculptural yet comfortable seat.

This set features beautiful red saddle leather that has developed a rich natural patina over time, highlighting the quality of the material and the craftsmanship of the piece. The leather shows attractive signs of age and use consistent with vintage examples, giving the chairs strong character.

The CAB chair remains one of Mario Bellini’s most recognizable designs and has become a true modern design classic.

Set of two Cassina Maralunga two-seat sofas in blue leather by Vico Magistretti, Italy 1973

Iconic set of two Maralunga two-seat sofas designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, one of the most celebrated Italian seating designs of the late 20th century. Introduced in 1973, the Maralunga is renowned for its innovative adjustable backrest mechanism, allowing the upper section to fold upward and transform into a supportive headrest.

This example is upholstered in a rich blue leather, giving the sofa a strong yet refined presence. The generously padded cushions and softly rounded armrests offer exceptional comfort while maintaining the unmistakable sculptural character of the design.

An authentic piece of Italian modern design, suitable for both collectors and contemporary interiors.

Monumental Afzelia wood sculpture by Begga d’Haese, Belgium, c. 1985

This powerful vertical work embodies the sculptural language of Begga d'Haese, whose practice is defined by restrained abstraction, material integrity, and a strong spatial presence. The form subtly evokes a totemic or anthropomorphic figure while remaining resolutely non-figurative, shaped through carefully balanced volumes and fluid transitions.

Executed from a single block of Afzelia — a dense tropical hardwood prized for its durability and deep reddish-brown tonality — the sculpture demonstrates refined craftsmanship and a sophisticated understanding of mass and proportion. The softly polished surface absorbs light rather than reflecting it, reinforcing the quiet tension and architectural clarity of the piece.

The Belgian bluestone base provides a sober, architectural counterpoint and enhances the monumentality of the work.

Active within the generation of Belgian sculptors who, from the 1980s onward, developed a post-minimalist and spatial approach to sculpture, d’Haese’s oeuvre explores balance, corporeality, and the relationship between object and surrounding space.
She was married to Dr. Le Compte, a Belgian physician known for his television appearances in the 1990s, and is the grandmother of Belgian poet Delphine Lecompte.

A significant and architecturally scaled example from her mature period, suitable for private collections, corporate environments, or institutional placement.
