Rather than introducing multiple botanical materials, this installation builds its character through one recognisable form. Layered at scale, the leaves create rhythm and volume, while their dark green surface stands in deliberate contrast to the warm stone, glass and classical detailing of Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels.

Each flower head is made up of countless smaller florets, together creating the generous volume that makes hydrangeas so distinctive. Here, their soft blue is surrounded by fine white botanicals and fresh greenery, allowing the rounded forms to emerge naturally from a more delicate structure.
