Opinions here at Depot 44 are divided about the letter box but I sure like it ! Never seen one and will never find one again.

Why do overseas buyers love us so much ? Lots of stock at good prices, a complete sense of how foreign markets work and a warm welcome . Maybe they also like the unlicked, raw and chaotic warehouse where they can have a good rummage!

How does a buying trip works at Depot 44.
First you arrive at our 4 star holiday home we're you can relax from that long drive.
Then you indulge yourself in the world of antiques and brocante.
In the mean you notice that your van is filling up more quickly then you realised with all those goodies.
NO PROBLEM.
Monsieur does a quick run back and returns with an empty van in the morning.
Madame in the mean time is chauffeured around to see other antique places... and stays an extra night.
This morning we did another load but still did not get everything in.
NO WORRIES
Leave it for next time !

Next trip is a full load for one customer only. Still a bit of space to fill but I haven't collected the full order yet. Then the last 2 pictures: a mint American ww2 box for anti-tank mine fuses . Something you don't find every day. One for the collection 😍

Another networking event in Cambridge last night. We had a wonderful evening and met all kinds of interesting professionals from all walks of life.
Today we had more time to explore the city and ended up at the department of Classic Studies at the Sidgwick Site.
Off course I can't say no to a good curry as options are slim in Belgium.
See you next year Cambridge!
