Jahrzehntelange Systemerfahrung.
Tiefes Prozesswissen.
Kritisches Betriebs-Know-how.

🏢 Big names create confidence.

But confidence is not the same as certainty.

In large transformation and outsourcing projects, I continue to observe the same pattern.

Organizations are impressed by references.

By international offices.

By successful acquisitions.

By modern facilities.

By highly polished presentations.

And there is nothing wrong with any of that.

Past success can be a valuable indicator.

But it does not replace a critical review of the actual project team.

Because projects are not delivered by buildings.

Not by logos.

Not by marketing slides.

They are delivered by people.

👥 People with expertise.
👥 People with experience.
👥 People with communication skills.
👥 People willing to take ownership.

This is often where the biggest surprises emerge.

Not because the contract was poor.

But because reality does not match expectations.

A strategic initiative suddenly becomes an operational struggle.

Planning turns into crisis management.

That is why one question matters more than most:

❓ Who will actually perform the work?

Not in theory.

In reality.

Because the answer often determines project success.

🚧💬🌍 Not everyone who stays quiet in a workshop lacks expertise.
Sometimes they are the most experienced people in the room.
Decades of system knowledge.
Years of operational experience.
A deep understanding of business processes.
Yet in international projects, some voices become quieter.
Not because they have less to contribute.
But because:
⚠️ The project language is not their native language
⚠️ Workshops move too fast
⚠️ Asking questions feels uncomfortable
⚠️ Communication styles differ across cultures
Over time, this creates a hidden risk.
The people who know the most may share the least.
And that's how organizations lose knowledge without even noticing.
Successful transitions are not only about moving systems.
They are about creating an environment where everyone can contribute their expertise.
Because the goal isn't just to transfer knowledge.
The goal is to transfer understanding.

🔒🌍📚 Sensible Informationen. Globale Teams.

Beeindruckende Referenzen.
Internationale Präsenz.

Alles Faktoren, die Vertrauen schaffen.

Doch Vertrauen ersetzt keine fachliche Eignung.

📉 Turnover is rarely the actual problem.

Most of the time, it is simply the symptom of a problem that started much earlier.

In projects, people often talk about who left.

Far fewer talk about why people wanted to leave in the first place.

💭 It often starts quietly.

People are assigned to projects without fully understanding their responsibilities.

Requirements are only partially explained.

Roles remain unclear.

And instead of confidence, uncertainty begins to grow.

At first, everyone tries to make it work.

They work longer hours.
They ask more questions.
They compensate for weaknesses within the team.

But eventually something emerges that never appears in any project plan:

⚠️ Frustration.

Because when people continuously feel unable to succeed, pressure builds.

When communication breaks down, pressure builds.

When expectations and reality drift apart, pressure builds.

And pressure rarely improves performance.

More often, it causes people to disengage or leave.

What is interesting is this:

Many organizations only react after people start leaving.

Yet the warning signs were often visible months earlier.

📉 Lower motivation
📉 Reduced participation
📉 More conflicts
📉 Increased errors
📉 Withdrawal from discussions

The real challenge is not managing turnover.

The real challenge is identifying the causes early.

Because successful transformation is not only about changing systems.

It is also about helping people navigate change successfully.

And that is often underestimated.

🤝 People rarely leave projects because of technology.

They leave because of situations that could have been prevented.

🔒🌍📚 Sensitive information. Global teams. Tight timelines.
Sounds familiar?
Many international SAP and IT projects operate in highly regulated environments.
That means:
🏛️ Compliance requirements
🔒 Security restrictions
📑 Sensitive documentation
🌍 Distributed teams
💬 English as the common language
On paper, everything looks manageable.
In reality, things get complicated quickly.
How do you transfer knowledge securely?
How do you collaborate efficiently when not every tool is allowed?
How do you ensure experienced employees can actively contribute, regardless of language confidence?
And how do you prevent critical context from disappearing during the transition?
Technology usually has a solution.
Communication often doesn't.
That's why some of the most important transition risks are not technical at all.
They are human.
🚧 Successful transitions need more than migration plans.
They need communication models that actually work.
💬 Have you encountered similar challenges in international projects?

✅ Budget
✅ Ressourcen
✅ Architektur
✅ Security
✅ Governance
Risikoregister berücksichtigen:
✅ Verzögerungen
✅ Abhängigkeiten
✅ Dienstleister
✅ Technologie
Aber was ist mit Kommunikation?
Was passiert, wenn:
