We're proud to share that Poore Sports Cards is officially partnering with Cards For Kids.

More importantly, we want collectors everywhere to know about this incredible mission and how they can help.

Founded by Marine veteran Ben Horak, Cards for Military Kids turns donated sports cards and trading cards into classroom rewards for children in military communities. What began with approximately 30,000 cards from Ben's personal collection has now grown into millions of donated cards.

Here's how you can get involved:

Donate cards:
Message Cards for Military Kids for the current mailing instructions. Base cards, duplicates, holos, autographs and other clean, kid-friendly cards can still create an exciting moment for a child.

Teachers, I’d love to connect with you.

If you teach at a school serving military-connected children, especially on or near a military installation, please message me.

We provide donated sports cards, Pokémon cards, and other trading cards free of charge for classroom rewards and incentives.

A small reward can mean a lot to a military-connected child. It can help them feel welcomed, encouraged, and connected, especially during deployments, moves, or other changes that come with military life.

I sort and package these cards because I know how much joy a simple card can bring. Together, we can put that joy into more military-connected classrooms.

If your classroom could use donated cards, or you know a teacher who may benefit, please message me. I’d be grateful if you shared this with them.

This is what the hobby is all about.

At Poore Sports Cards, we’ve always wanted to find meaningful ways to use this hobby to give back, get cards into the hands of kids, and help grow the next generation of collectors.

Cards For Kids is making that happen.

A lot of us have thousands of cards sitting in boxes that may not mean much to us anymore but to a kid, one card can create a memory, spark a new passion, and open the door to a hobby they may enjoy for years to come.
