First and foremost, we want to thank God for the tremendous favor He has had on our lives and the privilege extended to us to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the small business community of the Bahamas.
We have immense gratitude for the this mighty community and to every person who visited, purchased from, tagged, highlighted and supported us in any other way.
Since announcing our closing, we have been overwhelmed by the calls, texts, and messages to our store and personal lines. We didn’t realize the impact we made or how far reaching our mission went until this moment — the respect and love shared with us has been nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Down Home Bahamas’ doors comes to a close on a positive note as we make space and allow for new beginnings in both our professional and personal lives. That said, our mission to remains ever-present. Buy Bahamian-owned. Shop local. Make an effort to support all year round.
