She’s back. 🐚

A few years ago, Due East Design Co. was all about handcrafted wood art. Then life changed. A full-time career took center stage, and my little business was put on pause.

But here’s the thing about being a creator... it never really leaves you.

I’ve always been drawn to the coast, to fishing, to collecting shells, and to finding beauty in the little things the ocean leaves behind. So instead of trying to recreate what I used to make, I’m creating something that feels even more me.

I’m so excited to share this new chapter with you— custom shell clutches, bag charms, and one-of-a-kind coastal pieces inspired by life on the water and the beach.

Every shell has a story. Every piece is made by hand. And I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us.

Some moments just feel bigger than words. From being born in neighboring hospital rooms to growing up side by side for 18 years—and now heading to prom together—it’s a kind of friendship that’s truly rare and incredibly special.

Watching my son share this unforgettable night with his lifelong best friend means everything. Allison Landau Glucksman and I have dreamed about this, and seeing it come to life tonight couldn’t have been more perfect. 💕
