Duties and Responsibilities
• Sales/ customer invoicing
• Maintenance of fixed assets register
• Debtors accounts, maintenance and follow up
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintenance of cash book
• Maintenance of petty cash
• VAT Computations and submit VAT returns
• Payroll administration
• Management accounts
• PAYE and other withholdings computations and submisions
• Costing and price review
• Overseeing stock controllers

Position requirements
• AAT Level 4 or Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related discipline coupled with five (5) years' experience in an accounting environment

The Company intends to expand its factory plant in Botswana and invites suitably qualified, experienced, result-oriented citizens of Botswana to lead and implement the project;

Senior plant operator X2

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years in the similar position or equivalent in a poultry milling industry. A minimum of Higher diploma in Agriculture. A diploma in Agricultural engineering will be an added advantage.

Lead the production team during the shifts
Drive production planning and supervise assistant plant operators
Setting of goals and objectives for the shift team
Prepare reports/shift, analyze data and make recommendations for improving plant performance and team output

Applicants should have experience in a milling industry with atleast a BGCSE qualification.

Check plant startup and shut down
Coordinates all activities in the plant
Assume plant duties when operator is unavailable

1. PRODUCTION CONTROLLER X1

Duties:
• Coordinate production during the shift
• Drive production planning and lead the shift
• Take samples for every product
• Supervise the Intake and boiler operators
• Ensure that the plant and surroundings is clean at all time
• Assume Plant operator duties when Plant operator is not on duty
• Work with the premix preparation team
• Promote work in teams to meet QESH objectives
• Speer head the Safety and health operations in the factory
• Reconcile stock at the end of the shift

QUALIFICATION
• Diploma in Animal Health and production and at least three years working experience
• Degree in Animal Science and at least 1 year working experience
• Experience in a feed manufacturing experience in lieu of the considered qualification , can be considered
• Experience working in a feed manufacturing plant will be an added advantage
• Drivers license will be an added advantage

Quality Assurance Officer

Duties and Responsibilities;

• Operate, maintain laboratory results.
• Develop and implement a standardized feed, safety plan that satisfies BOBS requirements.
• Ensure all raw materials/ ingredients and finished feeds are of the right quality.
• Appraise customers requirements and make sure they are satisfied.

Position requirements
• Degree in Animal science or related qualification.
• Qualification in quality control will be added advantage

At least five (5) years’ experience in a feed manufacturing environment with much emphasis in quality control.

Lab duties
• Operate, maintain and analyze results of lab equipment.
• Maintain proper sample records and documentation for all raw materials and finished goods.
• Train lab technicians and assistants on the correct use of lab equipment, in addition to mentoring and disciplining lab staff.
• Make sure lab attendants follow industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples.
• Purchasing of lab supplies or consumables.

Legislation
• Knowledge of all relevant BOBS and ISO standards.
• Develop and implement a standardized feed.
• Safety plan that satisfies the BOBS requirements.
• Drive towards certification of factory and all products.
• Make sure raw materials and finished products comply with the set standards.
• Provide leadership in maintaining HACCP certification.
• Ensure all legal standards are met.

Quality
• Ensure that all raw materials and finished feeds are of the right quality; check all production related quality.
• Interface with departments responsible for the purchase of ingredients to ensure prescribed quality standards are achieved.
• Assist production line supervisors in implementing and maintaining the standards operating procedures and work instructions necessary to achieve quality and product safety standards
• Develop and implement product quality programs.
• Oversee ingredients and product sampling.
• Perform quality measurements and prepare analysis for products to ensure compliance with all quality criteria.
• Create and/or maintain and manage appropriate paper and electronic documentation.
• Monitor quality parameters and coordinate with the production department frequently.
• Ensure mixing and feed processing are done as per requirement, standard operating procedure (SOP) and work instructions.
• Work closely with nutritionist and mill personnel to ensure quality of feed meets and exceeds quality standards.
• Review current standards and policies.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output before dispatch.
• Monitor all operations that affect quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
