AutoZone Silverton is hiring a Sales Representative!
Position overview:
- To maximise sales by delivering exceptional customer care and
displaying superior product knowledge
- To contribute to effective stock management by bringing to management’s attention any stock discrepancies and to report stock movement in general
- Increased sales and customer loyalty will result in improved business results.
Job description:
• Promptly attend to walk-in and phone-in customers
• Manages incoming leads and direct as appropriate.
• Stock orders, discounts and pricing parameters adhered to
• Sales promotions done as required
• Quotes done accurately and timeously
• Actively seek out sales opportunities
• Promote products positively to customers
• Place special emphasis on the promotion of Exclusive / House Brands
• Focus on ad-ons to the customer baskets
• Be aware of store / individual sales targets and progress in achieving same
• Use appropriate merchandising techniques to display stock
• Ensure all price tickets/labels are current and accurate
• Assist with in-store organisation for promotions e.g. merchandising, price tickets
• Maintain an up-to-date awareness of all special offers/ promotions and actively read catalogues and product labels to familiarize yourself with products
• Liaise with debtors / cashier to minimise payment problems
• Ensure collection of monies on delivery of parts
Required experience, qualifications and skills:
• Minimum Matric/ Grade 12.
• Minimum 2- 3 years relevant experience.
• Superior sales and product knowledge.
• Strong administration skills.
• Customer relationship management skills.
• Proven track record in sales.
