ARTISAN CHEESES – SMALL BATCH, HAND MADE
Here is your cheese and goodies list for this week. PLEASE NOTE NEW CUT OF TIME FOR THIS WEEK AND NEXT WEEK ONLY! Order cutoff is MONDAY 4pm folks (5pm SUNDAY for Kate’s made-to-order goodies). DELIVERIES WILL BE ON TUESDAY 22ND OCTOBER AND TUESDAY 29TH OCTOBER. Some things sell out quickly, so early ordering is highly recommended.

Our delivery service is available to most places. If you live outside of a town or village, please ask if y\we can deliver to you – we often can!.
Why not join together with friends and have a more than one order delivered to the same address? You just pay ONE delivery charge for this service. Packages travel quickly to their destination inside an insulated chilled container, so your food will reach you nice and fresh.

Please order from THIS list which shows our current offerings. Remember, all our cheese is made from unpasteurised milk, the traditional, healthy way, and with vegetarian rennet.
HAVARTI WITH DILL – THE RETURN. A creamy Danish recipe cheese with the traditional addition of dill. Pretty to look at, yummy to eat. BZ$2.50 oz
BACK AGAIN – VACHERIN – a semi-firm cheese, traditionally used in Swiss fondue. Delightful texture and flavour for cooking or snacking, this sophisticated cheese sells out fast. BZ$2.50 oz
YALBAC WITH GARLIC AND GINGER RUB. Mild and creamy Yalbac enhanced with an olive oil and oriental spice rub. A subtle sweet and tangy blend with just a little ginger. BZ$2.50 per oz
BRIE – THE FAVOURITE. A refined cheese with a semi soft paste (the texture of the cheese) and a velvety mould coating (which is always eaten). Sweet, maybe slightly smokey, it has a richly intense and unmistakable flavour. Sophisticated, yet at home with a chunk of good bread and a glass of red wine. (Whole wheels of Brie are available to advance order.) BZ$2.50 per oz
JARLSBERG. This Norwegian recipe cheese was originally based on Emmental, but now it stands in its own right as a cheese which, like ours, is generally made from rich summer milk. Pleasantly sweet, slightly nutty, for both cooking and snacking. BZ$2.50
GRUYERE. This very well known cheese is excellent for gratins, grilling, and as a topping for soups such as French onion. Slightly grainy and complex in flavour, a cheese with character. BZ$2.50
ASIAGO – delicious Italian recipe cheese that’s just lovely for snacking, cooks well too. Sweet yet robust, it’s one of our favourites. BZ $2.50 oz
TRADITIONAL CHEDDAR – needs no introduction, this a medium strong, flavoursome, creamy textured, hand made cheese that everyone loves. BZ $2.50 oz
YALBAC – a unique cheese specially created by Chris for people who like a subtle cheese that is mild but not bland. We like it in omelettes. BZ$2.50 oz
FROM OUR KITCHEN AT RIVERLEA
RETURN OF AN OLD FAVOURITE - BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES. Sweet and sour, crunchy and fresh, these cucumber pickles are perfect for burgers, sanwiches, or as a side for any dish. BZ$14
BRITISH RAJ CHUTNEY. A sweet and spicy chutney that’s the perfect companion to cheese, chicken, curry, and more. Eggplant, onion, tomato, raisins and spices combine to make our number one best selling relish. 1 pint BZ$15
CORNICHONS – back in stock. Tiny pickled cucumbers with a delightfully distinctive flavour. A staple of French restaurants, pate is always accompanied by these dainty little morsels of deliciousness. And of course, they are perfect with cheese. 1 pint BZ$24
GOLDEN GRAPEFRUIT MARMALADE. All the goodness and flavour of grapefruit in a sweet and tangy marmalade. Perfect eye opener on your breakfast toast. 1 pint BZ$14
MIXED GREEN AND BLACK LEBANESE OLIVES.
Lebanese olives come from what are thought to be the most ancient varieties of olives in the world. They are small, fruity and delicious. No Lebanese meal is complete without olives. These have just a touch of Mediterranean herbs to enhance the flavour. (Contain pits) 1 pt $21
MIXED PITTED GREEK OLIVES WITH GARLIC
Olives that epitomise the taste of Greece. Here we offer a mixed selection of the fruitiest and most flavoursome varieties – Green, Blonde, Kalamati and Black - traditionally preserved with garlic, oregano, and just a little brine and extra virgin olive oil. (Please note the jar is not supposed to be full of liquid – it’s full of olives instead!) 1 pint, BZ$23 Saver size, Quart, $44
MANZANILLA OLIVES STUFFED WITH ANCHOVY. These are so intensely more-ish, we have to slap our own hands to stop ourselves from eating them by the jar! 1 pint BZ$23
PAPAYA AND ORANGE JAM. All the fresh juicy sweetness of golden papaya with just a touch of orange. We like this even more than mango jam. Spread it on toast for a happy start to your day. 1 pt, $14
KOSHER DILL PICKLE SPEARS Just like I remember eating out of a wooden barrel when I was a little girl in the East End of London. Salty, garlic-y, a little vinegary, I cannot resist these at all, and many of you say the same. Quart BZ$18
FROM OUR NEIGHBOUR, KATE!
CHICK-A-PEA PIES. Just like a Jamaica patty, but with a juicy vegetarian filling with plenty of chick peas. We love these! BZ$6
JAMAICA PATTIES. Delicious and spicy, authentic recipe from the Big Island, light-as-air pastry, ground beef, veggies, turmeric – what’s not to love? These traditional favourites are great for lunch or a snack. (Egg free) $6 each
HANDMADE SAMOSAS – BEEF OR VEGGIE?
These Samosas are super popular! Made to an authentic Indian recipe, a light, thin pastry encases a stuffed-full filling with nothing but the best ingredients, very lightly spiced. Eat them as they are, or warm them gently in the oven. $3 each, minimum of 6 (You can mix and match beef and veggie).

Our new partner delivery company, EZY, can deliver to your home, your office, even to the local hangout. (Please note: delivery to the Cayes is made to the Tropic Terminal on your Caye. You pay for the Tropic cargo cost from the City on collection. This is in addition to our charge.)

Is there a minimum order size?
No, but the smallest quantity of cheese we can cut is around 4oz. As we pre-pack the cheese, we will send the nearest weight we can to your requested size.
How much does delivery cost?
The charge depends on your location, and you can find a list of destinations and charges at the end of this message.
Can we buy direct from the farm?
Of course! Our new home, Riverlea, is located just a few miles from Spanish Lookout, and visitors are welcome by appointment to buy cheese and more – WhatsApp us at 604 5688, and give us at least 24 hours notice if possible. (We have no conventional phone signal out here.) Directions to find us are at the end of this message.

DIRECTIONS TO RIVERLEA
Take the Iguana Creek Rd to Spanish Lookout. At KT Enterprises woodyard, on the right, take the Farmers’ Express Rd. About half a mile down this road, turn left on the Roberson Rd, through the village of Buena Vista. We are about sevne miles down this road on the left, clearly signed “Riverlea”. (You will go over a low wooden bridge, past Dixie Chicken Hill, and in a few miles you will see a rown of small coconuts planted along the side of the road. We are the third entrance on the left.
DIRECTIONS TO TREY’S – the market is held every second Saturday from 10 until around 3.
From the Showgrounds, go to the flag roundabout and turn towards San Ignacio. Trey’s is around 15 minutes along the Western Highway, on the left, just about opposite Warrie Head and before you get to the sugar processing plant. Look for a teak plantation on your right, and Trey’s is just past there on the left.
