🕊️ Death Announcement
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved
Ciriaca Cardinez,
aged 88, of Independence Village, who departed this life on September 18, 2026.
Born on February 8, 1938,
in Big Falls, Ciriaca was a devoted wife, loving parent, cherished grandmother, and deeply loved by many.
She is survived by her sisters Veronica Murillio and Delfinia Vicky Vasnsen; sons Daniel, David, Moses, Ruben, and Isamel Cardinez; daughters Elizabeth Logan, Josephine August, Tamar, and Ruth Cardinez;
as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Gregoria, Clara, and Petrona; her brother Ignacio Martinez; her husband John Cardinez; and her daughter Rita Ramclam.
A funeral service will be held at Christ’s Sanctuary Pentecostal Church on September 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The body will lie in state beginning at 9:00 AM.
As Scripture reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:8, “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
