Want to add a sprig of excitement to your nice sip of White Wine? Try this recipe for what we call the 'October White Wine Spritzer'!

You'll need:
White Wine
Club Soda - this is hydrating, bubbly and brings the spritz to the spritzer
Fresh ginger - finely grated
Lemon - juice of one lemon
Rosemary - one rosemary sprig, plus more for garnish
Sugar - you'll need a ¼ cup of sugar for the simple syrup
Water - equal parts to sugar for the simple syrup

To make the simple syrup, you'll combine the water, sugar, ginger and thyme in a small saucepan, and heat until the sugar has melted.

Then you'll want to set it aside for 10 minutes to cool and to let the flavours infuse.

To make follow these simple steps.

Add ice to your glass
Top with about 1 cup of white wine
Add 3 teaspoon of the simple syrup
Add a teaspoon of extra ginger if needed
Squeeze in a good squeeze of lemon
Top with the club soda
Garnish with lemon wedge and a sprig of rosemary.

Well, sometimes! To use, we want your wine to turn out as unique as you are. Sometimes the year we make our wine is merely for our own sentimental archive-- but most often the year you see on your wine or a wine you buy at the store has entirely to do with when the grapes for that wine were harvested.
