Filter maintenance is so important to keeping your SEBO vacuum running at peak performance. After all, a dirty filter will hinder the airflow of a vacuum and reduce its ability to pick up dust and debris. So how frequently should you change the filters on your SEBO vacuum?
For most SEBO vacuum users, we recommend changing all of your filters after 16 bag changes. This number is easy to remember because there are 8 bags in each box! If you alternate between buying a box of bags and buying a service kit, which includes the bags and filters, you will always remember and be prepared for regular filter maintenance.
Sometimes filters need changing earlier or later than this 16 bag average that we recommend. The SEBO owners manual recommends changing all of the filters after 10 to 20 full bag changes. If you have pets that shed a lot, or you are frequently vacuuming up fine dust, you may need to change your vacuum filters more frequently. After 10 bag changes, take a look at your filters and see if they seem excessively dirty and in need of a change. If they don't look too bad, continue to use them for another 6 bags.
