In 2024, I took on the daunting challenge of crafting a quilt from my beloved late aunt's clothes. The gorgeous Tree of Life pattern sparked both excitement and terror - would I ruin the clothes and disappoint the family? After a speedy pattern purchase, self-doubt crept in. But with each stitch, I felt my aunt's loving guidance. My husband joined the fun, and before long, the quilt began to take shape. Though I missed the handoff, my uncle's beaming smile in the photo made every anxious moment worth it. This quilt is my pride and joy. Check out the progress shots and final product - still grinning from ear to ear!
