The most delicious authentic chip truck food including amazing poutine made with real Quebec curds and potatoes fresh from the farm, burgers, dogs, onion rings, sausage on a bun, pogos, lots of deep fried appetizers, and fish and chips with coleslaw, tartar sauce and lemon pieces. A great picnic area with lots of seating and parking for vehicles including ATVs
and snowmobiles.Take out is always available.

Thank you everyone who has come to the Cookhouse this summer. Jace and Holly are loving serving you all. As of tomorrow we have changed our menu a bit. All our beef burgers are now 100% pure beef, no fillers, triple A. Same 8 dollar price, your choice of white or cheese bun. FRESH juicy made on site patties. Jace is putting grilled cheese on the menu as well for 4 dollars. A few people have asked, all tips this summer go 100% to these college girls, both machine and cash. Thanks everyone!!!!!

We are open 7 days a week, including today, Canada Day!. Shirley who always does our posts and shares them on Whats up Kearney has not been able to use her facebook log in for a few weeks now, same with her Messenger if you were trying to send her a message. If you have a moment we would appreciate a repost on Whats Up Kearney. This summer we have 2 lovely college girls running the restaurant most days and they have decided to bring the restaurant back to its glory. As of this Friday evening we will have scooped ice cream back on the menu and later hours thru supper and early evening. Drop in and say Hi to Jace and Holly!

Kearney Trailside Cookhouse will be closed Tuesday May 5th due to a doctors appt out of town. We will reopen Wednesday May 6th at 1030ish and continue 7 days a week for the foreseeable future.

Robins are back this morning! That means we are close to reopening. A few more weeks of me healing from my hip replacement and then sometime the last week of April we should be reopened. We are filled with excitement for this 16th season, cant wait to get down to the farm again end of next week for that first potato purchase. The restaurant is still for sale, [email protected] for inquiries. We do have it fully staffed this summer so expect to see it open with expanded hours thru the evening as of mid June, regular hours April May. Cant wait for this winter to be over and to see you all again shortly!

Mid March already! We usually reopen around the 10th of April. Will post a day or two ahead of opening schedule. Our 15th year is coming up, I am recovering from hip and upper leg surgery this winter so you will see less of me at the window this year, more young people we have hired. Time to retire we both realize. The business is still for sale, not the property, just the business with an excellent long term lease and we will provide all training and purchase contacts. Contact only thru [email protected], if you are seriously considering doing this type of business. We are looking for a new family to take over in the style and manner it has been run very successfully and profitable since the early 1990s. This is not a place to start your own dream restaurant of a whole new menu. This is a very successful snack bar type restaurant built on fresh cut fries and quick take out meals. Chef experience is not required, basic home bbq skills works just great! See you all soon!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone! We will see you all in the early spring for our 15th season. Still actively trying to sell, but as we all know winter is a tough time of year to be selling a food truck business lol. Hope everyone is warm and cozy and has lots of holiday treats!
