The canopies are down and the Boob‑a‑Que for 2026 is now in the history books.
But let me tell you a little about the day.
The gals for the mini market arrived - , , , and - and it was all hands on deck. Their spaces were set up with ALL their beautiful goodies in a blink.
They kept posting about the Boob‑a‑Que, and soon the supporters started to arrive. It was a great day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and honestly, Mother Nature has been unpredictable lately… I guess she’s a Knitted Knockers supporter too.
The BBQ fired up and the smell of good ole hammies and hots filled the air. We ate, we laughed, we met new friends, and we simply enjoyed.

Thank you to the vendors for coming out.
Thank you to everyone who came, who participated, who dropped off knitted knockers, and who donated even if they couldn’t make it. We are a wee but strong community, and these events wouldn’t be what they are without you.
A BIG, BIG thank you to The Knitting Basket helpers… I promise there will be t‑shirts next year.
And lastly, to my family, who work tirelessly leading up to and throughout the day - simply, thank you. I couldn’t do it without you.
E‑transfers are still coming in, but because of all of you - your time, your knitting, your donations - it looks like our little community will be able to donate about $400 to Knitted Knockers of Canada for all the great work they do.
Next year will be 10 years for the Boob-a-Que event....
