Je me suis fais silencieuse depuis le début du mois de décembre, mais je me dois malheureusement de vous annoncer que Cédric nous a quitté subitement dimanche dernier.
Pour les clients qui venaient à la boutique physique, Cédric a travaillé avec nous pendant 2 ans. Cédric c'est également mon beau frère que je connais depuis qu'il est enfant. Cédric était différent, il était autiste.
Il avait toujours un sourire contagieux à la boutique, il était courtois et serviable. Luna a été son deuxième petit emploi (stage). Il a développé un peu plus ses habiletés, il adorait déballer nos tissus de super-héros et pouvait nous en parler pendant des heures de l'histoire de chacun d'entre eux.
Comme il adorait déjà coudre à la main, je l'ai aidé à se coudre un t-shirt avec une cape. Il a participé à toutes les étapes de la confection et le portait fièrement.
Gaetane (grand-mère) a été merveilleuse avec lui pour l'accompagner chaque jour que je ne pouvais être présente. Ils choisissaient tous les deux des tissus et elle lui a confectionné un ensemble comme il le souhaitait.
Cédric, c'est un ange parti trop tôt. Si gentil, sans une once de méchanceté.
Tu vas nous manquer Ti-loup. Tu emportes un gros morceau de nous avec toi. Tu as repoussé les limites et nous a prouvé tout ton potentiel. Nous te souhaitons d'être en paix et nous t'envoyons une grosse dose d'amour.
Dans quelques jours je vous sortirai quelque chose pour honorer sa mémoire, mais d'ici là nous avons un deuil à faire.
Si vous voulez, vous pouvez nous partager en commentaire vos souvenirs de lui ou simplement une couture de super-héros, mythologie grecque ou Égypte ancienne. Même si le tissu ne vient pas de Luna, ce serait le genre de chose qu'il aimerait tant regarder et nous parler.

I have been quiet since the beginning of December, but unfortunately I have to tell you that Cédric left us suddenly last Sunday.
For customers who came to the physical store, Cédric worked with us for 2 years. Cédric is also my brother-in-law whom I have known since he was a child. Cédric was different, he was autistic.
He always had a contagious smile at the store, he was courteous and helpful. Luna was his second small job (internship). He developed his skills a little more, he loved unpacking our superhero fabrics and could talk to us for hours about the story of each of them.
Since he already loved sewing by hand, I helped him sew a t-shirt with a cape. He participated in all the stages of making it and wore it proudly.
Gaetane (grandmother) was wonderful with him, accompanying him every day that I could not be there. They both chose fabrics and she made him an outfit just as he wanted.
Cedric, he's an angel gone too soon. So kind, without an ounce of meanness.
We're going to miss you Lil Wolf. You take a big piece of our heart with you. You pushed the limits and showed us your full potential. We wish you peace and we send you a big dose of love.
In a few days I'll release something to honor his memory, but until then we have some mourning to do.
