Etsy and page Shut Down

It’s with a bit of a heavy heart that I’ve decided to shut down my Snagglefoot shop on Etsy.
I started a wee store through Etsy in March 2012 and over the last decade I have seen Etsy slowly but surely move away from supporting small crafters preferring to give their time and attention to the larger businesses.

They have continued to increase their “cut” once you make a sale. They have also bullied stores into offering free shipping, which forces the stores to add shipping cost to their products….thus giving Etsy a larger cut!

I’ve had a wonderful time interacting with my awesome customers! I have had some great memories, especially of some custom requests, including some monkeys to represent depression and a couple characters from The Silence of the Lamb!

I haven’t had much time to to craft as I’m focusing on my living creations. This doesn’t mean I’m fully quitting….just taking a long break!

Just two new plush heading to my Etsy shop!!

In other news, I’m thinking about getting rid of my FB snagglefoot page and focusing on Instagram (and just my regular fb account)....haven’t decided yet. Will keep you posted!

Excited to share this item from my Etsy shop: Misfit Penguin! I had no plan when I started this wacky plush...but I like the end result!

I finally made a sock otter! I don’t know if I’ll make any more as he was a bit of a pain.

This Sock Otter Measures 11 inches long (by body length not to tail!), and 4.5 inches wide! This may be the only Otter I make as he was a lot of work! There are strong magnets in his hands and feet so he can grab them when he wants! This is a 100% hand sewn (no machine!), creation. As such they

This is my newest creation (the one on the left!). We’ve been spending time getting to know eachother, but soon I’ll be re-opening my Etsy store! I’ll let you know when I do!

Was just about to put my Etsy shop into vacation mode and this order sneaked in!
Will keep the store up long enough to let the customer know this zombie rabbit is on it’s way!

I’ll be putting my Etsy store in standby soon as I’m 33 weeks pregnant and this baby keeps telling me he’s coming early! Thank you to all who showed their support by checking out my weird weird plush or even buying one for their crazy (by crazy I mean awesome) friend!

Although I don’t sell a ton, this has definetley been a busier season for me! More people are shopping online and I’m grateful....AND highly amused that it is most lf my creepier stuff that’s selling! Here’w what people have been looking at recently!
