A bittersweet announcement from our little shop.

After 12 years of flowers, familiar faces, and so much love shared in this community, I have made the difficult decision to close The Flower Shop Altona.

My grandbabies are growing up fast, and retirement is calling. It's time to pour my heart into them.

July 1, 2026: We begin selling off our inventory. All gift items, plants and giftwares will be available at clearance prices.

Flower sales continue: fresh arrangements, bouquets, and all booked weddings will be honoured, including doing permanent arrangements for weddings and other events right through to closing day.

To every one of you who walked through that door, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. It has been the greatest honour.

It's the dad squished on the couch with three little ones who all want to sit closest. The one who crosses the finish line and looks straight for his kids. The one wearing a birthday hat without a second thought because she asked him to.

The one who shows up for every messy, beautiful, ordinary moment.
The one who loves loudly in a crowd and quietly at home.
The one the little ones climb on, and never want to let go.
