Hello September! 🌿
And bye-bye, August! 💜

August was such a full and memorable month for Simply By Anne.

From creating a special order and having the honour of being a small part of a beautiful wedding celebration, to introducing our limited-edition sugar scrubs and our new Yoga Mat Cleaner—there was so much to celebrate.

And then came an extra-special moment: being recognized as a 2026 CommunityVotes Simcoe County Winner! 🏆 I’m incredibly grateful for every vote and every person who continues to support my little business.

Thank you, August, for the creativity, the opportunities, the celebrations and all the wonderful support. 💜

💟 There’s something extra special about knowing something I made gets to be part of such an important day.

💟 These bug sprays were created for Dasha and Ethan’s wedding, giving their out-of-town guests a little extra protection while they enjoyed the outdoor celebration. 🌿

💟 I feel so honoured to have played even a small role in their wedding day. Thank you, Dasha and Ethan, for trusting Simply By Anne to be part of such a beautiful moment.

Late post…
Feeling so grateful after such a beautiful day at Laura’s Farm Stand last weekend. 🌸

💜 One of the most meaningful parts of the day was seeing so many familiar faces, returning customers who came back to visit, shop, and support Simply By Anne again. That alone means more than I can say.🥹

💜 But I also had a little realization that really stayed with me. Several of you told me that you see my posts, read them, follow along, and came to visit because of something I shared on social media.

💜 I spend a lot of time taking photos, creating posts, sharing new products and telling the story behind my little business. Sometimes you wonder… is anyone actually seeing this? 😂

💜Turns out: you are! 💜
And I can’t explain how validating that felt. All that time and effort isn’t for nothing. There are real people on the other side of those posts following along, supporting me and choosing to come see me in person.

💜 Thank you for that wonderful realization. Thank you to my returning customers, my new customers, everyone who stopped to chat, and everyone quietly following along from here. 💜💜

Let Us Reintroduce Ourselves! 💜

💜 Hi! I’m Anne, and this is my husband (and partner in crime), Andrew. Together, we’re the hearts behind Simply By Anne. Here’s a little about our story...

💜 Simply By Anne began with a simple idea: creating natural, handcrafted Christmas gifts for our family and friends. I wanted to give something thoughtful, personal, and made with love. That’s how my self-care line was born. 🛁

💜 About three years ago, we fell in love with a beautiful country property and made the move from Newmarket. Our new home came with a septic system, so I started creating eco-friendly 🌿 cleaning products that were safe for our home and the environment. 🌏 To my surprise, they weren’t just gentler, they cleaned even better than many of the products I had been using! That was the beginning of our natural cleaning line, and I still have so many exciting ideas for what’s next. 😊

💜 Today, I handcraft every product you see at Simply By Anne and manage all of the behind-the-scenes work that comes with running a small business. But I couldn’t do any of it without my biggest supporter: Andrew. ❤️
He’s by my side at every market, helps with set-up and tear-down, carries very heavy boxes, chats with customers, and is always my biggest cheerleader, my first product tester even after a long day. Simply By Anne truly wouldn’t be what it is without him.

💜 Starting a small business has been one of the most rewarding experiences. It takes dedication, hard work, and a whole lot of heart, but every early morning, late night, and market has been worth it. We’ve also met the most incredible small business community: supportive, encouraging, and inspiring. 💜

💜 From the bottom of my hearts, thank you for supporting my vision, shopping small, and following along on this journey. I can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
