The Crafty Sidekick

To my crafty friends that aren’t in this shop already, reach out to Sonia if interested. Her and Jeff do a great job and put everything into this shop!

We’re growing, and with our renovations underway, we’ll soon be welcoming 35–40 NEW VENDORS to Scotia Handmade Treasures! 💙

If you’re a crafty person, maker, or artisan who has thought about getting your products into a retail space, NOW is the perfect time! The extremely busy Christmas shopping season is quickly approaching, and we’re hoping to have our renovations completed by the end of September so our new vendors can move in for October 1st.

We’re especially looking for 1 vendor in each of the following categories:

🔹Soap
🔹Freeze-Dried Candy
🔹Stained Glass
🔹Sea Glass Pendants
🔹Pottery
🔹Macramé
🔹Indoor/outdoor door hangers/rounds
🔹Catnip Toys

And other unique, interesting handmade products that we may not already carry!

Do you make something different or unique? We would LOVE to hear from you! Send us some pictures of what you create and tell us a little about your products.

Unfortunately at this time, we are NOT accepting:

🔹Clay earrings
🔹Sea glass frames
🔹Crocheted or knitted items
🔹Sublimated mugs, tumblers, coasters etc ...
🔹Candles/melts
🔹Greeting cards
🔹3D printed toys
🔹3D paper shadow boxes
🔹Bath & body products (other than soap)

Text Sonia at 902-275-7558 or send us a message right here on Facebook.

With 35–40 spaces opening up, this is one of our biggest vendor intakes yet — and with Christmas right around the corner, we don’t expect these spaces to last long!

This beauty is off to its new home today! 🖤🤍🤎

I absolutely love the mix of buffalo plaid, farmhouse neutrals, and rustic textures in this wreath. The “Count Your Blessings” sign is such a sweet reminder to focus on the good things in life every day.

Thank you to all my wonderful customers for supporting my small business. 🍂✨

A huge thank you to Jess for including The Crafty Sidekick in the Canaan Community Market❤️

It was great to meet a wonderful group of vendors and visitors who come out to support one another. Every market starts somewhere, and creating a welcoming space where people can connect, shop local, and build relationships is such a valuable thing.

Thank you for all the hard work, heart, and dedication you put into making this happen. Wishing you continued growth and success as this community market blossoms! Look forward to joining in again 😊
