The forecast is calling for a break in the rain tomorrow. If you are going for a drive around Cape George, stop in to say hello. The Tuna Centre will be open from 2-7 tomorrow (Friday) and 11-5 on Sunday. We will be closed on Saturday while we are helping out at the Cape George Hiking Trail Hike-a-thon! We hope to see you soon.

We are sending positive vibes for a clear dry day next week for the Cape George Hiking Trail's yearly fundraiser! Regardless of the weather, though, the Tuna Centre is open to visitors from 11-5 today.

The Hike-a-thon is less than a week away! Let's hope the rain will be over before then. 😄

August has left us behind (already!), and that means our regular season is over. Fortunately, we will be open on select days in September. For the long weekend ahead, the Tuna Centre will be open Saturday, 5 September - Monday, 7 September from 11AM until 5PM daily. We look forward to having you stop in for a visit!

We created some great new tote bags for the end of the season! They are sturdy canvas, and the bag measures about 32cm wide x 38 cm tall, not including the handles. There is a limited supply of each design.

Our first ever TunaFest at Ballantyne's Cove is a wrap, and I think we can all agree that it was a great success! An event like this takes a ton of planning, a ton of work, and a ton of people! Thank you so much to everyone involved - our dedicated dreaming and planning team, our sponsors and supporters, the vendors and food providers, the dancers and musicians, our emcee Jason Spracklin, Mother Nature, the dozens of volunteers, and the hundreds of people who came out to support the community and enjoy the day. We really couldn't have done it without you! Same time next year? 🐟
