My grandson asked me to make him a turtle so I made him a turtle. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from grief to make a simple turtle just because 💚

I love when someone asks me to make something using colorful fabric. I always imagine what the person must have been like and it always makes me smile 🩷💜🩵

I just finished this big guy. I was asked if I could make him bigger and of course I did. I also cut the shirt up to fit the bear. A husband and wife together again. I hope this bear brings comfort to their daughter who I'm sure is missing her mom and dad very much. 💔

Grief is that silent partner you never asked for. It follows you everywhere you go for the rest of your life.

Grief is a heartache that attacks when you think you're finally beginning to heal. Just when you believe you've found your footing again, it quietly reaches for your hand and reminds you that the people we love never truly leave us. They remain woven into the very fabric of who we are.

Grief doesn't arrive all at once, nor does it ever completely disappear. It comes in waves—sometimes gentle enough to let you breathe, and sometimes so powerful that it knocks you to your knees when you least expect it.

It lives in the songs that suddenly bring tears to your eyes. It hides in the smell of your grandmother's perfume, in an old photograph tucked away in a drawer, in an empty chair at the dinner table, or in the sound of laughter that reminds you of someone you've lost. Grief has a way of finding us when we least expect it and sitting quietly beside us until we acknowledge its presence.

The hardest lesson grief ever taught me is that you don't move on from it—you move forward with it.

People often say, "It's time to let go," as though grief is something we should eventually pack away and leave behind. But I don't believe that. I don't believe we are meant to let go of the people we love. I believe we are meant to carry them with us in new and beautiful ways.

We learn to make room for grief beside our joy. We learn that it is possible to laugh again without betraying the ones we've lost. We discover that healing doesn't mean forgetting. It simply means allowing ourselves to live while carrying the love they left behind.

Grief is love with nowhere to go. It is the echo of a life that mattered. It is proof that someone touched our hearts so deeply that even death could not erase their fingerprints from our souls.

If grief has taught me anything, it is this: I would rather spend a lifetime carrying the pain of losing someone I loved than spend one day never having loved them at all.

Grief is the price we pay for love—and love, no matter how painful its loss, is always worth the price.
This is for the young girl I met last night July 20th on my birthday. Thank you for reminding me that it's not about starting over or moving on. It's about finding the strength to carry on after your world falls apart💔❤️

As I work on cleaning my house I sat down in my hallway and I looked around at what people see when they come to me to get bears made and I began to wonder what they are thinking as they look around. As I sat here in the stillness I decided to share what it means to me and why I placed things where I did.
This room is all about life death and the transformation that takes place. It's also about life after death when we get to reunite with the ones we long for. I hope when people come to my house they can see what I see and know that this is a safe place to share your grief. To cry laugh and remember. That in my home your beautiful fabric will be turned into something you can hold until you meet again. Your memory bears say, "You can still hold Your loved one. Thank you everyone for always supporting me, and for holding me in your heart always❤️

I'm so excited to share this newest creation. She was made from a baby blanket and will be given as a gift to the little girl who loved her blanket and is not turning 18. I hope she loves it as much as she did when it was a blanket. 🩷

I just finished this baby quilt for a young lady who saved some of her daughter's clothes. It was so nice making something that was just a sweet memory. 🩷
