I made this little onE just for fun. It was a sweater my daughter didn't wear anymore. I love how it turned out. Sometimes I just need a break from all the sadness. I love what I do,but it is heavy work, but I am so thankful that people trust me with their loved ones clothing ❤️

I was asked if I could make a bear for a young lady who lost her mom. I could tell she was nervous to leave her mom's shirt with me. That's often the reaction I get from people. It's like they are handing me their most prized possession and really I guess that's what you would call it. As they hand me an article of clothing that was once worn by their loved one it must feel like they're handing over a piece of themselves. I know I would have been the same way if it had been with my brother's clothes. You want to know they will be taken care of. That they are in safe hands. That this is really what you want. I do understand and I imagine it's a real tug at the heart. However, from her reaction I think she was very happy to have a bear to hold and hug.I'm sorry you lost your mom so young. I hope the bear and the hair scrunchies bring you some comfort💔

A lady got a hold of me about making bears out of her dog's beds. The dog was 15 years old and he had just passed and they were both devastated. So I decided I would quickly get her bears done and get them back to her as fast as I could. They were so happy with them she said they were really struggling so it was nice to know that I was able to help them a little bit with their grief. 🩵
