80 years! Hills Pharmacy has been around a long time. I personally don't think we look a day over 75!

Celebrating 80 years in business, Hills Pharmacy Ltd. has been a trusted part of the Aylmer community since 1946. Today, third-generation family owner 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 carries on the family tradition alongside her friend and co-owner, 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗿, continuing Hill’s commitment to personalized service and community care. The downtown location itself has an even longer history, with a pharmacy operating at the site since 1869.

Over the years, Hills Pharmacy Ltd. has evolved alongside the changing needs of the community. Today, the business operates two Aylmer locations offering prescription services, medication assessments, compounding, minor ailment prescribing, injections, vaccinations, mobility equipment, compression products, and free local delivery. Their downtown location also showcases 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀, connecting today’s customers with the business’s remarkable past.

For Julie and Chris, the heart of Hill’s Pharmacy remains 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. Some more work is going on with our new sign today. The driveway isnt blocked, but please watch out for the workers coming in and out of the hole.

Its Labour Day weekend!

Hills Pharmacy is going to be taking the day off on Monday, Sept 7 for the holiday. We will be back to normal on Sept 8 (along with all the school kids!)

Work on our new sign is going on again today!

They are pouring concrete, and part of our driveway is blocked again. It may be a tight squeeze getting into the front parking spots. They should be finished soon. The rear entrance on South Street is unaffected.

The whole medical complex is getting a new sign!

Its going to be a bit bigger, and lit up better.

Today there is some construction going on in our driveway, and the exit part is blocked off. The entry is still open. Please be careful coming and going! Cars may be moving in ways you aren't expecting.

The Terry Fox Run is only a few weeks away!

Sept 20, Hills Pharmacy is going to be taking part in the Terry Fox Run in Tillsonburg at the soccer field. We've been doing this for a few years now. I'd like to say I've been training, but I haven't managed to train my dog to run beside me instead of into me!

This weekend is the August Long Weekend!

Hills Pharmacy is going to be closed on Monday, August 3 for the Civic Holiday. We will be back to normal on Aug 4. If anybody needs anything, please give us a call this week sometime and we will try and help you out!

Big changes in Pharmacies this month! We can prescribe for 9 new minor ailments, bringing us up to a total of 28. The OPA was nice enough to make a helpful infographic showing off the whole list (I highlighted the new ones). So, if you have some calluses or corns, dandruff, dry eye, a mild headache, head lice, jock itch, nasal congestion, ringworm, a wart, or any others off the big list, come talk to us and we can try to help you out!
