A Wee bit about us…Whilst your visiting our shop check out our huge selection of various items, clothing for everyone 0-100 yrs, gifts, unique items as well as clothing that are vintage/antique as well, housewares, linens, crafts, games, puzzles, books, toys, hobbies, sports, camping, a pet section and just so much more in our huge wrap around Thrift Shop 🤪
We are a traditional charity thrift shop, our prices our low and affordable as we work with the community to pass along gently used, clean useful items to new people ♥️ keeping it all out of the land fills and dumps. Giving those in our community who are low income, just starting out, just arrived, those in need of supports, homeless and everyone in between a welcoming affordable place to start♥️
We are an all inclusive safe space.
We are wheelchair and stroller accessible.
We have washrooms and changing rooms.
We are child friendly, have stickers and balloons for kids. Please do not leave your children unattended or running around. Please teach your children not to touch before asking.
We are pet friendly, we provide a fresh cold circulating bowl of cold water by the entrance and there dehydrated 100% beef liver treats at the cash… random staff or volunteers may have one of the “Beefies” in their pockets whilst they roam the shop. We may become your fur babies new besties and place to shop.
Our Supervisor is Tasha and she is a cute but tough wee pup belonging to one of our dear volunteers Maria ♥️
If your pet is friendly she likes to say HI too!
We have open opportunities for people who would like to volunteer, bonus you get to work with some amazing people, have tea/coffee/whatever, cookies, cakes, random goodies, you get first peep 👀 at what’s been donated that day as you help sort and distribute donations to the floor. OH I almost forgot… you get 50% off your purchases at the Thrift Shop 🥳🙃
If you have items that you would like to donate, you can
1) Drop them at the CASH DESK during store hours.
Or 2) Drop your donations round the back of the building, through the gate in the alley way, along the path to the red bench at the back door area.
For items that we do not accept we suggest that you
1) List on FB for free in groups, buy and sell page ect…
2)Take your items to the transfer station/re-useit centre located in the Banff industrial area. Roam Transit goes to the area as well.
3) Contact Town of Banff for larger item and furniture pickup.
DO NOT DUMP YOUR ITEMS AROUND TOWN, AT DUMPSTERS, IN THE FOREST, PARKS, SOMEONES PROPERTY OR HIGHWAY.
