Hey Folks! Our sister store Eldorado Goldpanning has a special announcement!

Eldorado Goldpanning is excited to announce that we will be welcoming Billy Barker to our small piece of the town named for him! He will be joining us on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Billy will also be hosting a kids only goldpanning competition here at the Eldorado during that time. Entry will be limited to 12 kids. Registration opens at noon and the competition at about 12:15. Entry fee is $5.00. Billy will return on Dominion Day from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

Gold panning lessons and modern souvenirs
Duties may include:
Gold panning instruction (we will teach you how if required, but not all staff need to instruct), counter sales, stocking, pricing, general cleaning and of course outstanding customer service.

We will be open from 10 - 6 till the end of August and then slightly shorter hours for September!!

Barkerville reopens TOMORROW, Friday August 2nd!

This is a historical first as we've never had to reopen during a season, but we are excited to welcome everyone back tomorrow.

Please note there will be a delay in getting the Lung Duck Tong and Kwong Sang Wing open as people are still making their way back from their evacuation, but we're hoping to see them operating on Saturday.

Well, it's that time of year again. Lots of jobs available for anyone interested.
We have sales positions available in all 5 stores; Mason & Daly, C. Strouss, A.McPherson's WatchMaker and Jeweller, McMahon's candy store, and Eldorado Gold Panning.
Competitive wages based on experience and qualifications. We prefer full time but will consider part time for the right applicant.

Well, after a long winters hibernation we have brushed the sleep out of our eyes and are ready to OPEN for the 2022 season! You will find us open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily as of June 4/22. We hope you will come see us and beautiful Barkerville, BC as well!

The end of another COVID season is upon us. Due to an outbreak of COVID in Wells, the decision has been made to end Barkerville's season today (Sept 12). This decision was not made lightly. All of the businesses, interpreters and administration agreed that the health and safety of our guests and of ourselves was paramount and warranted this step. Rest assured, we at Mason & Daly are still here to serve you through our web store.
