This one was picked out for the whole family. A cookbook for her Mom, a few YA reads for her daughters, and some new releases for herself. That's the best part of this job: watching one visit turn from Finding Your Story to Finding Their Stories.

One of our favourite things about this job is when someone comes in with a truly thoughtful mission.

She was heading away for a girls weekend and wanted to bring each of her friends a book. She knew their favourite genres, other books that they had enjoyed, and thoughts on what vibes they would want in a book.

We walked the store together and found something for each one. It was such a lovely way to spend a morning.
Her daughter also picked out her own book and bookmark and needed a photo immediately. We completely understood.
