Someone in his Ben’s class told him,”skittles gives you brain cancer”.
What she didn’t know is that sometimes skittles keep him alive.
For Type 1 Diabetics, skittles aren’t candy. They’re medicine when blood sugar drops dangerously low.
This is why awareness matters. The more we understand, the more kindness we spread.
