It all started with an online book bash and 4 books!
My mom hosted a book bash for her friends as a way to build their children and grandchildrenβs libraries π
Full transparency -I had no knowledge of Usborne, and zero interest in participating in this party.
Iβm so happy that I decided to watch share her incredible library with all of us and talk about her business. I sat there once she was done and thought βI think I can do this?β
I was so excited seeing all of the books and possibilities for children of all ages! This opportunity was literally PERFECT for me!
It took me a month or so to fully decide to jump in head first. I was so scared of failure, full of doubt, and didnβt know what people would think of me.
But then I thought:
WHY does it matter what people think? Iβm doing something I love!
WHY am I so scared of failing? The very worst that could come out of this is a whole new library of books for Zander!
WHY am I so full of self doubt? Because pushing boundaries and stepping outside of your comfort zone is uncomfortable for everyone!
Moral of this rant, is that I made the decision to do this and Iβm so grateful that I did β€οΈ. Iβm part of the most supportive team and community, and have an outlet for sharing all things books and literacy!
Regardless of what you want to do, whether it be a side gig, a full time career change, a trip, etc., you CAN do it! Believe in yourself and do the damn thing π₯
P.S - this time next year, my library will be double this size (manifesting and visualizing that!)
