I know I haven't posted my beadwork in a while but noticed some new followers so a quick introduction of myself again I'm ojibwe Cree from treaty 9. Grew up in the Toronto surrounding areas and spent my summers with my kokum up on the rez by manitou which is where I first began my beadwork journey, and I hope yall stick around to see more of !

wâsikonâskaw (glistening snow) collection dropping Dec 17th 2022 at 7:00 pm mst.
I created this collection with the first snow fall in mind, our people had survived the most harsh winters especially in the the area I am from (Alberta Canada) it’s very empowering knowing we are still here after everything our ancestors have been through and fought for. Wâsikonâskaw quite literally translates to glistening snow or light reflecting off the snow. And I’ve always thought that was so beautiful to see after the first snow fall. Seeing the glistening snow from the reflection of the moon and stars is what makes me think of winter and spending time with my family.
Model is wearing a maroon turtle neck bodycon dress with geometric designs going down the Center with floral accents on the top. She is wearing hand painted earrings made by with red dyed feather details and beaded beaver fur mukluks.
