I know so many of you have been feeling this, what can we do? Let’s SCREAM. Let’s scream for Jane Doe, and all the Jane Does, for our daughters, for ourselves. What can we do? Get together and make some NOISE. Raise money for local victims of male violence. And when they ask us what we are screaming about, WE TELL THEM. If you just can’t take it anymore, meet us there, in front of the bathroom building at Centennial Beach. There will be a donation bucket for Women&Childrens Shelter Barrie and chamomile tea to soothe your post scream vocal cords. *If you are a local business or influencer with reach, please share this post, let’s make this big and loud and impactful.*

The turning of the seasons has me craving the coven this year. The state of the world is calling so many of us to lean into old ways and gather together in circles to celebrate the rhythms of nature. Our tourist goodies have been flying this summer but this one is a little different. Not really a tourist goodie, but a nod to all of the Barrie die-hards who love it here. Those of us who adore downtown, live for a dip in Lake Simcoe (in all seasons!) and who embrace this weird and wonderful parts of living in this little city by The Bay. To all the keyboard warriors & negative Nancys, take your Eeyore energy somewhere else, we hear Oshawa is lovely! (No real shade to The ‘Shwa, we had to pick a place!)
