As we wrap up 2025, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who chose to shop small this festive season โ and throughout the entire year. Your support truly means the world to me and to Sunlight Creations. Because of you, this year broke all of last yearโs records, and Iโm endlessly grateful. Meeting you all on market days is truly my favourite part of what I do ๐ค
For the past five years, Iโve been creating meaningful pieces using flowers from our surroundings, wedding bouquets, and special moments shared with so many of you. Being trusted to turn those memories into something lasting is such an honour, and it brings me so much joy to be part of your biggest milestones.
On a more personal note, this past Monday, my partner told me we were celebrating the end of my biggest holiday season yet โ little did I know he was about to ask the biggest question of all. We are now so happily engaged ๐
Seeing flower petals laid out on our hotel bed after such an unforgettable day filled me with overwhelming excitement. It felt like everything I love โ life, love, nature, and flowers โ coming full circle.
This marks the beginning of capturing our own love story through my art. I couldnโt resist bringing those petals home, carefully drying them, and soon incorporating them into a piece of jewellery Iโll cherish forever.
