Author Anne Milne, editor of “I Had a Swell Time: The Diary of a Young Girl Searching for Love in the 1930s”, will be visiting The Village Bookshop on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The book is based on a collection of real diaries written by her mother, Bernice Hodgins when she was a youth and many of the entries are based in Bayfield!
